The food was excellent. We had the chicken fried steak and eggs breakfast that was seasoned to perfection and the best in Idaho and Oregon. Everything we ordered reminded me of what restaurants tasted like over 40 years ago. We also ordered the Patty Melt and the sourdough was grilled to perfection and the wagyu burger full of flavor. They were able to get my tater tots extra crispy and not oily. Our server was friendly like we were a guest in her home. The restaurant felt like an updated hometown diner and clean. Love this place and definitely worth the short drive from Payette for such excellent food!
We were going through Weiser and needed a place to eat a late lunch. Tara's in an old diner right off of US 95, not on the main drag. Tables and a diner counter, plus very friendly staff. Breakfast is served all day. The squeeze and I split the Reuben samminch with a side salad. We did order an extra salad as well. The sammy was excellent. The meat was tender and there was a lot of it. It is diced up and not sliced. They probably do this because they also have corned beef hash on the menu. Salads were good and sizable for a side. Good thing we split this! This place is a solid five star. Can't wait to go back and eat breakfast.
It's basically a HomeTown Cafe. The food is priced very well and it tasted fine. Nothing out of the ordinary but good. My mom says they make excellent pies here but I haven't experienced that myself. I know that my mom and her boyfriend really like it. I've only been there once and I just had a sandwich. It was just a plain sandwich on regular bread. I was hoping for homemade.
Great spot for breakfast! Came in on a work trip and had breakfast on my way out of town. The coffee was great, the service was very cheerful and professional, but not overly so first thing in the morning--the perfect combo. The breakfast burrito is huge, and delicious. I would definitely stop here again if I'm in town.
Great food!!! Fresh and presented with care! Of course this isn't a five star Michelin or a one star BUT it is beautiful diner fare at a decent price. Best fries in Weiser!!!! Garlic aoli supreme and service is impeccable! Amy took very good care of us! I'll be back! Need to try their pie!
As soon as we walked in, the staff greeted us with smiles! Their energy continued through the whole meal.. Much appreciated! Nice clean decor Both my wife and I enjoyed our food, solid value. Would definitely order the biscuits and gravy again, flavor was great (would have like just a bit more sausage in the gravy) Will for sure return.
Great food and lots of it. The breakfast menu is awesome. Service was a tad bit slow, but they were super busy. Highly recommend a stop there when in Weiser.
My mom & I had a wonderful meal here today. I had the chicken fried steak, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns and a biscuit. Mom had the sunshine omelet, hashbrowns and a pancake. Everything was very tasty. Very friendly service, from the instant greeting when we walked through the door, to the multiple checks on us, down to the final bill delivery. I look forward to introducing my hubby to this restaurant.
